First off, I’d like to thank ALL OF YOU for visiting, subscribing AND reading this website so far. Without your support I would have no desire to continue to grow this venture to greater heights. That being said, I’d like to apologize.

In my excitement for reorganization with adding/moving user pages, some of you may have received a post that was inadvertedly sent through the RSS feed entitled “Damien Basile”. I have an ego, but not THAT big of an ego to name a WHOLE POST after myself.

IT’S ALL SO 2.0! IN WITH THE NEW… FEATURES!

All that is is my new Author page info along with the other authors you will come to know and love. You can see all of them here:

With each of these new social media bio’s I have kept in the ability for all of you to connect further socially via Retaggr, retweet, comment and ping back them because social media is all about what you have to say. We’re nothing without you. This is just the BEGINNING of the stellar Featured blogger lineup to come.

You may have also noticed that there are some more Community aspects to the website. We have added Google Connect, which not ONLY allows you to join/become a member easily, you can also see what others who frequent here are up to as well as comment and review the site in general.

Facebook Networked Blogs and MyBlogLog are two other blog Community widgets we have added in the right hand sidebar for your convenience to be able to connect to the information you love wherever you’d like.

Recent Comments and Recent Posts have been moved to the bottom left and middle for a new easy to find Recents area. We have also conveniently placed in the lower right hand corner any blog badges of communities we are involved in. This is where you can find our presence in the niche communities that matter to you.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!!

Facebook Connect will be making a second appearance. There is a problem with it resetting the php from x.0 to y.0 that sets off an error right now. Twitip will also be coming back. The most current plugin to add your Twitter id is not compatible with the version of WordPress we’re running, so we need to hand modify it.

The next MAJOR development to be enacted will be user submitted articles. We are truly passionate about branding and I know SO MANY of you are as well. That’s why we want to do this right. We’re looking to not only set up a system where you can become an author but ALSO collaborate with other authors.

A crowdsourced wiki mashup blog with some other 2.0 jargon thrown in there for good measure!

This has gone from being my (Damien Basile) blog to being ours as well as yours now. There are many sources for branding out there but none that are a community in the true sense of the word- to my knowledge at least.
